1.3. Inclusions and Exclusions
Each service’s product description outlines what is included. Anything not specified as included is not in scope. For example, for "install only" options where you supply the product, Replacify is not responsible for the condition or performance of that product.

2. Quotes & Estimates

2.1. Quotes Provided
Any quote or estimate provided is subject to your final specifications and may be altered or withdrawn if your requirements change before you submit a confirmed booking. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

3.1. Qualified Service Provision
Replacify arranges for suitably qualified and, where required, licensed electrical contractors to provide the services as specified in your booking.

3.2. Compliance and Quality
For test and tagging, safety switch testing, and other services, our work complies with applicable Australian standards and consumer law. In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, services and any supplied products are warranted to be of acceptable quality, subject to any limitations specified.

3.3. Pre-Service Arrangements
If a service requires that the electrical products be delivered to your site (for example, pre-installation delivery to ensure our team has everything ready), you will be notified in advance. Delivery of products as part of the service does not incur additional shipping charges—it is included in the overall Service Fee. If tailored work is completed for the customer, additional shipping charges may apply based on what the customer has requested.

4. Your Responsibilities

4.1. Site Preparation and Access

  • You must ensure that your site is suitable, accessible, and safe for our electrical contractors.

  • For "install only" services, any product supplied by you must be delivered, kept unopened and in its original packaging where possible. For "Install Only" services, if the product is pre-owned or not delivered in its original packaging, it must still include all original manuals, accessories, and certification documentation to ensure full compliance with Australian legislation. Replacify is not liable for any issues arising from such products or for any damage to the premises at the time of installation or in the future.

  • You are responsible for providing any necessary permits or approvals for electrical work.

4.2. Provision of Accurate Information

  • You agree that any information you provide regarding your site, current electrical setup, or the products supplied is accurate.

  • Should inaccuracies be discovered, you will be liable for any additional costs incurred.

4.3. Data and Access

  • You acknowledge that data relating to jobs and customer details may be stored and processed via third-party applications (e.g., booking or job management tools) as part of our business operations. Replacify is not liable for any breaches or issues arising from these third-party services, and you indemnify us against any such claims.

4.4. On-Site Conduct

  • You agree that our contractors may need physical access to all relevant areas of your site. If you are not present (or you have arranged for a representative), you must ensure that safe access is available.

  • In the event our contractor is unable to access the site as agreed, you may be charged the Service Fee plus any expenses incurred (e.g. products purchased, consumables).

5. Payment and Service Fee

5.1. Pricing and Variations

  • Prices quoted are based on the scope of work detailed in your booking.

  • The final price may vary on the day of service due to additional requirements (e.g. extra circuits, switchboard upgrades, or unforeseen site conditions).

  • If additional costs apply, these will be discussed with you and must be accepted before work proceeds. If the work requested differs from what was booked, the service will cease and you will only be charged the Service Fee and any confirmed additional costs.

5.2. Service Fee

  • The term "Service Fee" refers to the callout or on-site charge that applies to all service calls which includes transport, planning and administration. This fee covers our contractors’ time and any operational costs incurred if the service cannot be performed as agreed (for example, if the site is inaccessible or if the product is unsuitable for installation).

5.3. Payment Terms

  • Full payment for goods and services is required as set out in your booking, with any additional charges communicated to you in advance.

6. Termination

6.1. Cancellation of Service

  • Replacify and its representatives reserve the right to cancel any service at any time without prior notice.

  • If cancellation occurs due to circumstances beyond our control or due to inaccurate information provided by you, only the Service Fee and any directly incurred expenses (such as product costs or consumables) may be charged.

6.2. Termination by Customer

  • If you decide to cancel your service after products have been purchased or work has begun, you may still be liable for any costs incurred up to the point of termination (such as service fee, product costs or consumables)

7. Additional Terms for Electrical Services

7.1. Scope of Electrical Works

  • Replacify provides electrical services only, including the installation of new electrical systems, appliance replacements/installations, and general electrical work.

  • New installation services are limited to pre-existing, compliant properties and do not cover new home fit-outs. For example, adding downlights or new power points to an existing property is within scope, whereas fitting a full electrical system for a new build is not.

7.2. Test and Tag / Safety Switch Testing

  • Services such as test and tag and safety switch testing will be carried out in accordance with all relevant Australian standards and consumer law.

  • The cost of any work beyond testing (e.g., subsequent repairs or updates required for non-compliant items) is not included in the testing service.

7.3. Product Condition and Warranty

  • If you choose to supply the product, Replacify is not liable for any damage or defects. Your warranty, if applicable, is solely with the manufacturer. If Replacify supplies the product, your warranty, if applicable, is solely with the manufacturer on the product.

  • Any product not supplied by Replacify is not eligible for our support, and we bear no responsibility for its performance.

7.4. Installation Limitations and Variations

  • All installations are subject to the condition that the existing wiring and switchboard comply with current standards. If upgrades are required, these will be treated as a variation and must be approved (and signed off) in advance.

  • If on-site conditions mean that installation cannot be completed on a like-for-like basis, additional items or adaptations may be required. Such costs will be communicated prior to commencing work.

  • Products or installations that differ significantly in size or configuration may be un-installable despite attempts to accommodate them. In such cases, work will be halted, and you will be charged only for the Service Fee and any directly incurred expenses.

7.5. No Repairs Liability

  • We do not provide repair services for products. Our electrical services focus on installation, replacement, and testing. Any repairs needed for goods not supplied by us are not our responsibility.

8. Data, Privacy, and Third-Party Applications

8.1. Data Usage

  • Your personal data and details of your service jobs may be stored and managed using third-party applications (such as booking systems or job management tools).

  • Replacify is not liable for any breaches or issues arising from these third-party applications. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims related to data misuse or breaches that occur within these systems.

9. Liability and Disclaimers

9.1. General Liability

  • Replacify and its operators, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the provision of our services, except as required under Australian Consumer Law.

  • You are responsible for ensuring that the service and product supplied are suitable for your site and purpose. We rely on the information you provide, and any inaccuracies may result in additional charges for which you are responsible.

9.2. Damage Upon Delivery

  • For any products delivered to your site as part of the service, you must not open or tamper with the packaging. Should the packaging be opened or handled by you or third parties before installation, Replacify will not be liable for any damage that may result.

  • If our representative discovers that the products have been tampered with, this may void any warranty or service agreement, and legal remedies may apply if damage or injury ensues.

9.3. Warranty Disclaimer

  • Except as required by Australian Consumer Law, all services are provided "as is" without any express warranties. Replacify does not guarantee that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

  • Any additional costs incurred due to factors beyond our control (e.g., additional circuits, circuit breakers or unforeseen site issues) will be communicated and must be approved by you prior to proceeding.

10. Miscellaneous and Final Provisions

10.1. Scheduling and Additional Bookings

  • While performing the service, unforeseen issues may arise that require the work to be postponed or scheduled for a second appointment. In such cases, Replacify will organise a follow-up booking with you. Additional charges may apply, and these will be communicated in advance.

  • You are responsible for ensuring that all products required for installation are purchased and available on the day of service, unless otherwise agreed.

10.2. Cancellation of Service

  • Replacify reserves the right to cancel a service without notice at its discretion. In such cases, Australian Consumer Law provisions remain in effect.

10.3. Acceptance of Terms

  • By engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Service Terms. These terms work in conjunction with our broader Terms of Service and other policies referenced on our site.

10.4. Governing Law

  • These Service Terms and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia.

10.5. Additional Clauses

  • We rely on the information you provide. You will be liable for any additional costs incurred if your representations are incorrect. Please contact us if there is any information you would like to provide us with prior to any electrical services being completed.
  • At the completion of the installation, there may be some pre-existing issues that become visible such as drill holes, ceiling scratches and scuff marks. The repair of such issues does not fall under the like for like terms as new products can vary significantly in dimensions. This is not covered under any scope of works.

  • If for some reason your new fitting can’t be installed on a like for like basis, additional items may be required to complete the installation at an additional cost. This will require your approval prior to commencement

  • You must ensure that the electrical service, product and replacement service is suitable for your purpose and site. Replacify is not liable if they are unsuitable.

  • You must ensure that the site is accessible and safe for the electrician to attend and install the product.

  • If it is agreed that you are not to be home during installation as part of an agreement with Replacify Pty Ltd, Replacify Pty Ltd is not liable for any issues that may arise on or after our visit.

  • If the existing wiring does not comply with current regulations, the electrician is obligated to update it to ensure compliance. Costs associated with this will be treated as a variation and signed off in advance of the work being undertaken.
